Marcus Hughes grew up in Pleasantville, NJ and has been inspired by diversity and spontaneity since childhood. His photographic work is mostly candid and spontaneous as he enjoys the hunt to reveal something of value and interest in the mundane and monotonous.  He makes his photos on 35mm film.

 

Marcus produces works on canvas with acrylic and large murals on walls with spraypaint.   

 

His written work consists of various thoughts, experiences, and ideas expressed through hip-hop style lyrics.
